Archaeology cat
I just saw this advert on our diocesan website and thought I'd share: http://www.dosafl.com/landing.asp?HorizNavID=4 Holy Family Parish in Jacksonville is seeking a full time faith-filled coordinator for youth and young adult ministry to organize, implement and evaluate the total Youth Ministry Program at the parish. In particular, the youth minister will lead the established weekly youth ministry sessions for both senior (9-12) and middle school (6-8) youth, organizing retreats, workshops, service opportunities and liturgies as the need arises. The parish youth program integrates adolescent catechesis into a comprehensive ministry to, with, by and for young people guided by the principles established by the USCCB in Renewing the Vision. The successful candidate will also recruit, organize and train all who are directly involved with the youth program. The youth minister is expected to attend pertinent parish meetings as well as diocesan sponsored events and provide support and resources to the young adult community. Qualified candidates would possess at least a bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Ministry, Religious Education or Theology and/or National Certification in Youth Ministry and 3-5 years of experience working with youth and young adults. Resumes with names and contact information for three professional references should be sent on or before April
