A Parish Horribly Vandalized Today

I don't know the name or town the parish is located in, but a friend I met online has told me that their home parish was very badly damaged last night, and all the Sunday masses had to be canceled. The church had just had an extensive and very expensive renovation, it was just gorgeous. The vandals broke in, smashed up all the stained glass windows, and sprayed offensive graffiti on all the new murals and mosaics, the statues, everything. The tabernacle in the adoration chapel was broken into, and some other things were also stolen. Lord have mercy on these destructive people, and may He console the people who have had something so precious and holy destroyed.

 

These same vandals destroyed a Baptist church last week, and have not been caught yet. The town fears that if they are not caught they will destroy another church next weekend.
