Divine Mercy Sunday

Do some Churches hold Confession before or after masses on Divine Mercy Sunday ? Or just the normal time Confession always is ? All the Churches around here Confession is on weekdays or on Saturday or both...On Divine Mercy Sunday though is it a custom for Confession to be offered ? Sorry if this is a stupid question. I'm a stupid Catholic.

My Parish put in their bulletin that they weren't going to be hearing Confessions this weekend. I don't know if that's even really how its suppose to be. We have tons of people going to Confession every weekend. I think they're going to be mad

To Jesus Through Mary

I find that a lot of parishes that have Holy Hours and DM chaplets normally have confessions during those times. Pray you have an awesome confession!!

Not a stupid question :)

I've found that many churches don't, and you can go the day before, like when it's typically offered. But there are some that do have Confession on the Divine Mercy Sunday, and that's usually if tehre's a Divine Mercy celebration - with the Chaplet, Adoration, the image, etc. This usually takes place in the afternoon. Maybe look up if any parishes in your area do this. If you really need Confession, I'd say just ask the priest before Mass (but not right before Mass when he's getting ready) :)

Spem in alium

At the church I usually go to on Sundays, there is an image of the Divine Mercy and our priest mentioned that it is Divine Mercy Sunday but didn't say anything about confession times or the indulgence. It was a bit unfortunate as I'm sure many people would have been interested. Best bet would probably be to ask your priest.
