Where Is This Quote From?

I saw a quote of something that Jesus said to St Teresa of Avila in a vision... He said "I would create the universe again, just to hear you say that you love Me".

 

SO beautiful :)

 

My question is... anyone know which book this is from? Is it from her autobiography? another book? I haven't read the whole autobiography and I don't have it... I have the "Interior Castle".

 

This somehow made me also interested in learning more about her life, so I'd like to read the book where it's from.

Didn't Jesus say that same thing to St. Faustina?

I seem to recall something... how He mentioned that He could make a new world, where she would live in happiness for the rest of her life. She replied that she only wants to love Him, and after He talked about how He unites Himself with her in a special unique way.

 

The way I understand, the words to St Teresa make us want to love Him more because we realize how much He wants our love, - with St Faustina, she also talked about His love, which pleased Him :)
