havok579257
It says Catholic must receive communion at least once a year at easter time. Does this mean they must receive on the actual easter mass or is this the weeks aftereaster it is also referring to?
cappie
Can. 920 §1 Once admitted to the blessed Eucharist, each of the faithful is obliged to receive holy communion at least once a year. §2 This precept must be fulfilled during paschal time, unless for a good reason it is fulfilled at another time during the year. Paschal time starts Easter Sunday and concludes with Evening Prayer of Pentecost Sunday. However in Australia the Bishops Conference has determined it can be between Ash Wednesday and Trinity Sunday.
