GeorgiiMichael
(Mods, if this isn't the place, or if this isn't okay, please go ahead and delete this thread) I'm a rosary maker, with several rosaries currently on hand, and I was wondering if any of you fine phatmassers would be interested in purchasing any of them, or future rosaries I may make? Also, this thread could be a place for other rosary makers to hawk their wares and for discussions on rosary making. What say you, Phatmass? Anastasia13
Mary's Child also makes rosaries. I've seen them. They are pretty cool. http://myheartmyall.wordpress.com/2013/03/24/a-brilliant-idea/ Edited April 3, 2013 by Light and Truth

GeorgiiMichael
Double post to say that this will now be a thread dedicated to merely posting pictures of our handmade rosaries along with any other rosary making discussions that might crop up. Here is one I made for my dad to give to his godson for his confirmation: He chose St. James as his confirmation saint. And this picture does a better job with capturing the true color of the beads: Edited April 3, 2013 by GeorgiiMichael
GeorgiiMichael
Triple post because I'm a rebel. This is a Lasso or Wedding Rosary that I made for my friends who got married this June. I sneakily found out which beads they preferred, and made each loop out of their preferred bead. The turquoise were for her, and the black for him. Notice the Mary center for her side and the Joseph center for his. I thought it turned out really well. I also made the box that I gave it in, that the rosary is shown in. Tufsoles
I used to make rosaries but for the kids in Africa(no really). I needed to a service project and at the time that was the onlyh thing I could thing of. It hurt my hands doing it but it was all worth it. OnlySunshine
I used to be part of the Rosary Maker's Guild at my parish and I helped make rosaries for the missions. They were nothing fancy since they were made from cord and plastic beads but it was so neat learning how to make them. I wish I could go to the meetings again but I don't have a car anymore. :(
BigJon16
It's a hobby I've always wanted to get into, but haven't had the motivation.
GeorgiiMichael
This is a rosary I made using the Eastern Christian prayer rope knot. This, if I remember correctly, is the first one I made, I've since gotten better at getting the knots close together, and I've also gotten several other colors of both wooden beads and of the cord that I use. GeorgiiMichael
Oh, and this is something of my own creation. This is the only one I've made, and it's definitely a prototype. The idea came to me as I was praying a rosary. I call it a Survival Rosary. Much like those survival bands, with lengths of para-chord. This particular one has 40 yards of para-chord along with a climbing quality carabiner.
