30lbs in a month? Jeez, and I was happy with my one-pound-a-month plan...

Strange question, but if any of you work out wearing a scapular, how do you keep it from strangling you? Or if you swim, how do you keep it from floating off?

I don't currently wear one (I'm finicky about them and haven't found a good replacement for the one i lost a few years ago...), but I always took it off during workouts and any time it would get wet.

I like to tuck my scapular into my breast pocket before exercising. That way I feel like Mary is right next to my heart :)

I wear it on the outside of my shirt to keep it from getting all sweaty. Never really came close to strangling me. When I swim I kind of tuck it into the strap on my swim suit.

Tried that. She quickly pops out to say hi. Then she tries to take me down again.

I guess I need to start wearing a t-shirt to the pool then. That would at least solve one of my problems.

Maybe my problem isn't with wearing the scapular wrong, maybe I'm exercising wrong.

Jason and ARFink, very PROUD of you! Keep on praying for us as you eat healtier and work out....

It is so hard for women to hear how easy it seems to be for guys to lose the weight. I am jealous... But I am not as dedicated, so I have no reason to be grumpy....

As I have heard people joking about the popping scapular problem, "Look for the Union label....."

I tend to look at the Scapular as an item of CLOTHING that Mary gave us. Like every good mom, she loves her kids when they are in their clothes and when they are out of them. You can always wear a scapular medal in a pool or while exercising... or sew one inside of your workout clothes / swim wear.....

Well, I had much too much work today to ride in the morning at my usual time, and I'll be working long and late hours tonight too, so I might not get my ride in. :/

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually think I might miss my ride today... sniff.

Hmm, that's a new one for me. I like the sound of it, but how does this work with the promises of wearing the scapular constantly? I know we can trade out for a new one if it gets too old, worn, & beat-up, but it feels weird to trade scapulars multiple times a week just so we can workout. Maybe I'm just being silly lol
