Tufsoles
So, The Church I go to has a priest from the Philippines. He has a lot of family there. He has become a U.S. Citizen and speaks perfect English. At the end of mass today he had a very sad announcement. His sister apparently died from cancer early in holy week. She left behind several young children and named our pastor their legal guardian. Sadly, He has to go back to the Philippines and take care of the kids. When he was telling us this there was not a dry eye in the church. This church was packed too. He admitted that he did not want to leave his flock but he knew it was for the best. It was truly bittersweet and fitting for the season. He is well loved by his flock and we as the flock are understanding. I know alot of people in the parish that are or were in that exact situation so I think we were accepting the fact that it is time and we will always have a special spot for this priest. eagle_eye222001
Very sad. Though...at least the children have him I suppose. Doesn't make a lot of sense....but life doesn't tend to make sense immediately.
Tufsoles
Yeah. I am glad that the children will have someone to support and mold them the correct way. Yeah, life never makes sense. I look at my life and god has put though some things that make no sense at all and I am glad that I went though it because it made me a better per5son.
