<3 you all. I don't deserve your prayers but I thank you all very much.

We, none of us, deserve anything.  And yet we are given so much.  You and your Dad and all your family are in my prayers daily.  May the Mother of Grace and Mercy comfort you.

Hey guise, thanks again for the prayers. Figured I'd update for anyone who wishes to know. This is basically what the doctor said, my dad has a rare type of follicular lymphoma that is usually incurable without a bone marrow transplant HOWEVER, it's behahaving like diffuse large cell B lymphoma and is very aggressive, but the PET scans only showed cancerous growth in his neck, which is great because in about 95% of patients the doctor said that they find it spread throughout the body. So that's a plus. Basically he's going to undergo three chemo sessions and three things of radiation thereafter. The doctor is pretty confident that this treatment will work and when it does he won't have to worry about the cancer coming back. We're very lucky to live close to some of the top hospitals around and the surgeons and specialists have been really amazing.

If you have the chance please pray that my father will make it through the chemo ok. He's obviously not thrilled about it, and depression runs in his family so I'm praying that his he'll be able to keep his spirits up, and also that chemo won't cause any complications (there are risks but obviously the risk of not doing treatment is exponentially higher).

Thanks again pham for your prayers.

:console:  Definite prayers.  I remember finding out mom had cancer, it was one of the most earth shattering moments of life.  We were very fortunate that they got it all.

Prayers for your family and strength all around!!!! Cancer is one of my worst fears!! (I'm 55) So far so good! May I inquire as to the age of your father?? Please tell him he has ALOT of people praying for his complete recovery! My step-father had MDS. Which is what Robin Roberts of Good Morning America had been treated for.
