We Finally Have A Priest!

I may have mentioned this to some of you, but our parish here has been without a permanent priest since the beginning of October. Our previous priest left very suddenly, and it was a bit of a shocker to us all. We are a thriving and faithful parish (community members and university students), so it's been rough on us to not have regular access to daily mass and confession.

 

However finally after almost 7 months of waiting and prayer, our new priest said his first mass with us yesterday!! He won't be "official" until April 12th, but he's going to be with us all of Holy Week. There is a lot of rejoicing right now in our community, and I just wanted to share with you all. =)

One of my priest just want into a simi-retirement, about two years ago.  My paster was doing all the work.  He now has a prist that willing to work.
