Gabriela
I mean, what do people do on this day? Besides fast. People go to work, yes? To the grocery store? Or do most people just stay home and pray all day? What wouldn't you do?

Nihil Obstat
Personally, I try to do as little as possible in terms of secular activity. Often that does not work out because of other obligations, but when possible I try to spend the day in reflection, and ideally attend the Mass of the Presanctified at the end of the day. Luckily that works out for me tomorrow, as I have managed to leave the entire day open.

arfink
I'd also avoid bacon festivals.

PadrePioOfPietrelcino
Movies, bars, general things of "entertainment" Instead focus on the things I must do like classes and prayer and reflection.

This year I am also going to try and find a homily on the 7 last words.
GeorgiiMichael
I'm not going to a concert for a band I really like that's playing near me tomorrow and won't be within 4 hours of me again for the foreseeable future. Thanks for reminding me.
OnlySunshine
I think it's inappropriate for me to listen to music. I try my hardest to spend the day in as much prayer and reflection as possible. Last year, my mom was off work so we went to the 3pm Communion Service and Veneration of the Cross at Church. Unfortunately, she is not off again this year so I will probably miss it which I'm sad about (no car of my own anymore). I, most likely, won't post much here until Easter because I don't want to spend too much time on the internet. I also try to avoid watching TV. Tonight, I stripped my walls of all my pictures and covered up my religious statues so it's really bare in my room except for 2 crucifixes. I just finished watching "The Passion of the Christ" and I'm exhausted -- mentally and emotionally. It's time for bed. Tony
I'd also avoid bacon festivals. The Sauce Boss and Muscles Glasses would make bad Catholics ;)

Winchester
Murder would probably be highly inappropriate. Also, prank calls.
