organwerke
Hi all, as many of you know I was in a deep friendship with a dear phatmass member who died last year for drowning. This phatmass member called Catholic Wing left a widow and three children. I tried to help them some way. I sent them some money through Western Union, I sent it also through the contact I have now with Catholic Wing's cousin who is a seminarian and is soon to be ordained as a priest. I suggested to him to open a Paypal account, but honestly I don't know if it is possible. Also, CW's cousin asked me if I could help him buying or sending him a chalice and a ciborium. Finally, he told me he is trying to help not only CW's family but other children who are living in difficult conditions too. So I was wondering if someone here is willing to join me in helping these persons. Also, if you have any idea of how it would be easier to collect and send money. I know some of you here (especially discerners) do this sort of things so maybe there is a way we can help these people. Thank you and happy Easter to all. elizabeth09
I feel sad for the widow and their three children. How old are the children? Could I be able to send them some candy? Edited March 27, 2013 by elizabeth09
organwerke
Thank you I don't remember exactly how old are the children but I may ask his cousin next time I email him. I also forgot to add for those of you who didn't know Catholic Wing that he lived in a very poor country where christians are often persecuted. Before he died he often told me that his greatest dream in life was to go abroad in a country where he could live in peace and gain money for his family. He received many threats when he was alive, he had to live hidden for some time to protect himself and for this reason he could not find a job there. For these reasons I am particularly interested in raising some money to send to his family and his cousing seminarian.
organwerke
Sorry I did a mistake: Catholic Wing had two children, not three. How do you post photos from your PC? I want to post some photos of his family so that you may have an idea. Thanks
organwerke
Ok so I've thought that maybe it's better to start a new topic with a different title because I fear this one doesn't attract the attention very much.
