We have one in every bed room basically, and I have three in mine personally. I hve a wooden crucifix, a communinon cross, and a crown of thorns cross, which is just beautiful. It is a wooden cross, and has the crown of thorns draped over the top, with the passion purple garment around the cross--aboslutley beautiful. And we have 3 funeral crosses in our hall for loved ones.

my Grandfather's house was like that... and i have the same goal for my house.
i remember when we would visit there, wandering around and looking at all the pics of the holy family, all the saints, statues, icons

i think they all held memories for him - they came from places, friends, family, etc...
and his house was never cluttered or crowded with these thing, though - everything had it's place
it was nice
