Mickey's_Girl
Hey folks. I'd like to know if you can recommend a website (or book) that is an easy-to-grasp rundown of various saints. Also, how do you know which saint is a good intercessor for what? (not sure if that made sense) Thanks! MG

Lil Red
Try: Patron Saints Index or: New Advent
Ellenita
The Patron Saints index which Lil Red suggested is very good - you can find the saint by name or look by subject for the specific saint who the 'good intercessor' for that particular thing which is really useful.... There is also an Oxford dictionary of saints if you're flush with money! Alternatively you can always pray to St Rose of Lima or St Martin de Porres who seem to be mighty intercessors for me on just about anything I ask! OK, I'm a little biased about those two....they're turning out to be quite good friends!
Lil Red
St. Rose of Lima is my birth (patron) saint. St. Dymphna is my personal saint (she's awesome cuz she is the patron saint of the mentally ill which sometimes I think I am!)
Sojourner
MG, if you're looking for a decently priced quick reference book, "Saints Preserve Us" is pretty good. Not hugely in-depth, but handy.
