arfink
I must admit I've been approaching the Triduum with some caution and even a little reluctance this year. But so far all is peaceful and quiet.
Not The Philosopher
On the one hand, I am very much looking forward to the next three days. I went to confession earlier today and feel ready. On the other hand, I work in retail, and, having just finished with the Passover onslaught, am not so keen on facing the Easter onslaught on Saturday (fortunately I don't have to work Good Friday, and my schedule is such that I should be able to make it to all three services)
Catholicterp7
I'm pretty excited about the Triduum, though i'm kind of bummed that I can't interpret the Easter Sunday Mass. I'm very excited about spending time with the family though. It should be pretty amazing! I do have a prayer request. I had a phone call and email from the same person about a full-time educational interpreting position. I don't know if it's for right now or for the fall but in either case I hope they're not just looking for an EIPA but will accept a BEI 1.

ContemporaryCaflicCrusader
Hey anybody interested in going to this? I go every year. http://www.thesoulfest.com/artists/ I imagine I will only be doing Saturday. It can be expensive, but it's as expensive as you make it. I put 100 bucks aside a year for Soulfest not including gas for just one day even a weekend day (And yes they include Friday) I always come back with money. Another thing I tend to at least try to do every year is http://www.osgpaintball.com/events.php but the red dawn scenario looked good in July, however it's been a tradition to try to go to the Halloween BYOP with me and my friends. Maybe both could be worked on. Always will take more!!! It seems like Satan has been attacking the young practicers on this phorum. We need to get grace from God from the sacraments and band together. Kinda like Red Dawn spiritually. And if Obama continues to flush the toilet of our society we may have to eventually physically too.

Tufsoles
I'm totally with you on that, Tufsoles. It's one thing to just hang with people and enjoy being with them, and be open to friendship with people of all ages.... but sheesh. It's about being yourself.... and it doesn't sound like he managed that. How about we feed him to the teens? Well, The parish this priest is at they already do. Look up Father Bill Carmody. Yeah. He is awesome.

TheresaThoma
Hi, As far as Triduum things have been great, God has thrown me a couple of curveballs thus far but they have been good ones. For example I mentioned to my RCIA director that I am excited that tomorrow night at the Vigil I don't have to do anything for the first time since coming into the Church. She looked at me confused and said "actually you do, You're L's Godmother," Apparently her boyfriend can't be her Godparent so I get to fulfill that role. Not a bad thing just a bit of short notice. I guess it is better than finding out tomorrow night!
