Discernment With Community.

Praised be Jesus Christ!

 

I was thankful to have received a letter back from the community that I contacted before, and know I continue with my searching. They have a lot of vocations and they recommended that I look into communities that are closer to where I am that are in need of vocations. I am thankful that Reverend Mother had said this, for some reason I have never thought about this before. Come to find out, there is a Discalced Carmelite monastery a little more than 2 hours away from where I live. I am familiar with them but never considered to write and it was exciting to learn that they are so close. I plan on sending out my letter to Reverend Mother there after the Feast of the Annunciation; which is celebrated April 8th this year. That is when I will make my consecration to Jesus through Our Blessed Mother and it would be really great to discern with a community more completely under our dear Mother's care and intercession. My hope is that since they are not a full community and are close by, that she would ask me to come for a visit. I'm very hopeful and I am thankful for your prayers. God bless! :)
