morostheos
I'm sure whatever you have chosen has already happened by now, but following the advice of your priest is always a good choice. If you've spoken with him, do what he says and let your conscience rest.
franciscanheart
In general, if you're too delirious to drive to Mass, you're too delirious to drive anywhere. Which means probably sleep is the priority, not message boards, cleaning, reading or anything else.
missionseeker
That is more sleep than I had, I am 30 miles from church, and it ends in an hour and a half (I was so hungry I was almost sick to my stomach earlier and just finished eating). You do what it takes. I live 90 miles from church and usually have 3 or 4 hours of sleep. I have to be up and leave at an entirely ungodly hour that on weekdays, I refuse to acknowledge exists. If you're ill from lack of sleep, then you know it and you'll know when driving would be a bad idea. In general, people aren't going to say "yeah, you should skip Mass" because in general, people go to great lengths to get themselves and their families to Mass, sometimes at great physical expense. It's not something that people consider optional.
Anastasia13
This thread is a moot point. Let's just make fun of something... Or whatever... Edited March 25, 2013 by Light and Truth
