nikita92
I am in the "notdeciding" phase...yet time is not on my side due to my age bracket. My dilemma...I know I am a people person...(I can see myself in the front parlor greeting visitors..helping with retreats etc) I also know...I never have had a inclination to be in the nursing, teaching, fields either! (Yet have been told,I am good at instructing people when called to) I am a pretty outgoing extroverted personality. yet when it comes to feeling like I might have a vocation...I feel stuck...and am currently in the "notdeciding" mode. :/
Tally Marx
For me, the thought of religious life keeps buzzing at my mind like a mosquitoe. It took me a long time (6 years, actually) to realize that it doesn't appear to be going away. I have come to the conclusion that the only way to see if this call is "for real" is to try it. The only way to get rid of it or satisfy it is to join and truly "check it out". My original plan was to join only once I was sure, and now I think that I won't be sure until I join. If I really am called, it will work out. If I am not, it won't. I have never heard of anyone who regretted entering, even if they later left. What can it really hurt? My advice to anyone feeling similar would be to just go. Edited March 31, 2013 by Tally Marx
