Interesting. Thanks.

As one of my Eastern Orthodox friends likes to say . . . if you had a bishop who tried to do strange things during the liturgy or who just tried to alter the traditional liturgical practices of the eparchy, he would be run out of town.

The Orthodox are very attached to the liturgy, because for them it exemplifies the faith of the ages.
