That is correct, the Byzantine Rite Churches include both the Eastern Catholic Churches and the Eastern Orthodox Churches. Byzantine-Slavs are all those Churches that originated in the areas north of the old Byzantine (East Roman) Empire (e.g, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, etc.).
