Anastasia13
By bring up an Eastern perspective along side a Latin perspective, we can be better equipped to reach out to an increasingly diverse community to bring them into the faith. Apotheoun has a balanced perspective including both traditions to share and use in a leadership position. Eastern perspective will come up more: - By bringing up an Eastern Catholic perspective, you will be more familiar with another way of using language to express Catholic concepts to people who may be more receptive to them in different ways. This goes for a variety of people, but sometimes Greater discussion of Eastern traditions will help fulfill the phorum’s purpose: - Eastern Catholics can through this be made more Catholic - There will be more opportunity to attract Eastern Catholics and even Orthodox to the site because of the connection to the tradition of their particular church. Anastasia13
Additionally: 6 out of 7 Eastern Catholics would rather be identified by as Eastern Christian in a Roman forum because they can see who shares their tradition. These are people where it would help to develop a community that discusses these issues more so that there is a sense of inclusion as a Catholic that is stronger than their identification as a ____ rite. 7 our of 9 Eastern Catholics confused people on a Roman forum before because they were not Roman rite. This would create an opportunity to demonstrate that this does not need to be an issue here. Another survey on labeling showed the benefit of demonstrating the presence of Easterns on a forum as an attraction. (Links to surveys available upon request.) By bringing this to discussion and into the leadership, this demonstrates and fosters a diverse social environment, where this along with proper theology and doctrine (and Apo has education in this) is present creates a place well suited to the work of the Holy Spirit along with an intellectual and spiritual impetus to grow, both as a website and as individuals. Apo has skills that can help this happen through his knowledge of culture and theology. No one grows or learns in a vacuum. By bringing diversity within the confines of orthodox Catholicism, this creates a growth opportunity and can strengthen opportunities for ministry. As a website, it would also be a way to one-up CAF.
