I wasn't going to reply to this. But I finally decided to as it seems to be a party on open mic to break down why I shouldn't be a Mod. And I'm starting to feel like my personal character is being attacked, especially in regards to my Wife and I's relationship and if we are capable of disagreeing. I guess it comes with being the front runner. (weird) I'm not one to actively seek out putting others down publicly. So, I apologize ahead of time if anyone gets offended. 

 

 

 

Point being? It is possible to disagree with your wife.

I don't post in the lame board since I find it to be boring compared to what it was like 4 years ago. I'm fairly selective with my posting and like to keep it to open mic and RSH. I read everything else though, including VS. I don't post just for the sake of posting; I like my contributions to the forum to actually mean something, not just be spam. 

 

Actually, I don't see how posting frequency has anything to do with modding. Look through the mod list; there are a few of them that don't post very much but are still capable of modding. 

 

 

I'm sorry my words were taken wrongly, I did not mean for any of this be an attack on your character at all.  I really think you're a wonderful dude, I'm just really bad with fully explaining what I mean to say.  I need to use my words better.

 

The part about you having a mod wife wasn't any part to whether or not you and her could disagree (heck, MissyP and I disagree on plenty of things), but rather on the idea that if something should happen in your household like you two going on vacation or (God-forbid) some sort of family trouble takes you guys away from us., then instead of being out one mod, Dust is down by 2.

Then, after that, in my head, I grouped you having a wife, baby, and work as large time sinks.  I don't follow you and your wife's personal lives as closely as many of the people that have been here a much longer time, so the only thing I could go off of was what I happened to catch in the baby threads a while back.  I can't remember if it was stated or implied, but I left those threads with the impression that you had mostly given up your own social life to more fully commit yourself to your family the work required to provide for them (which I believe to be admirable and I highly respect).  Again, since I don't have contact with you outside the forum, I can only get a sense of your forum activity by how often I see you post.  In my brain, they fit together like perfect puzzle pieces.  

 

I was wrong.  I didn't know that you had the time to read all the threads.  I didn't want to be heavily influenced by Missy's opinions of the candidates, so I tried going off of what I knew or believed to be true (as you can see I royally mucked up with what I thought I knew about Apo) based on what I saw on the phorum.

 

Once again, I'm truly sorry.  And I, in no way, meant any attack on your character.  You are awesome, dude.  Sorry this all got so cray cray.

Brain; no worries. All the cray cray had finally driven me to respond to something....Which apparently did no good as Evange(whatever) decided to get even crazier.

Like I said, I didn't want to seem like I was attacking you. You are pretty cool and it saddens me how quickly people have been to take sides and start attacking others, as joking as it might be. That is how these things start to get out of hand. 

 

 

 

Yea, we have a pretty unique outlook in our marriage in that my wife was close to dying a year into our marriage. After that, we don't argue about things that happen on here; and trust me, we disagree about plenty of stuff on this site.
