Evangetholic
I also have trouble with Z's and M's. It's infuriating. Makes me want to hurt kittens.

Basilisa Marie
Try that. If you have "flat" keys, you can DELICATELY pry them up and out of the clips. Or you can check to see if the keys are "seated" correctly. Or just try a can of compressed air. I have lots of issues with my keyboard because I have long hair and cats. Evangetholic
I'll try the compressed air. I probably have cigarette ashes and al manner of cookie crumbs hidden underneath the keys.
AnneLine
You are a humble man, Evang, to admit to that. Most of us won't go there....
Nihil Obstat
One time a few years ago I spilled bourbon on my keyboard. My laptop keyboard. Yikes. Let it dry out for a while, and I imagine the bourbon evaporated rather well. Couple hours later I turned it on and it worked just fine. And smelled like bourbon. It does not smell like bourbon anymore, but it is still working.

AnneLine
Before someone asks.... I either installed an update that had a problem... or installed what looked like an update and.... yuh... fell into the dark side. Either way..... for now that computer is toast, but have some hopes of a resurrection if I can be patient. God is good and sends people to help dumb dumbs like me sometimes. :console:  :console: Edited March 18, 2013 by AnneLine
Nihil Obstat
Get a friend to put Linux Puppy on a flash drive, then boot your computer with the Puppy OS. You can use the OS to dig through your files and delete the offending malware disguised as an update, if that is what it was.

My mother (who was in her 60's at the time!) once dropped a fifth of bourbon in front of a flower stand in the middle of the San Francisco financial district. She said that suddenly every guy in the planet started rushing the flower stand trying to figure out which flower smelled like THAT.... and she said she thought she might have shoved dozens of guys off the wagon that afternoon. There's a story that I could tell. But I won't. aw... come on... it's not like anyone is going to read this, right? :brutebeast:
