Nihil Obstat
Besides, you take karate. You should at least try to be able to pronounce all those words. Japanese is extremely easy to pronounce. Much easier than English.

This was just my nice way of saying no lame animes unless you mention Inuyasha. :P

Typically those long running shows are pretty poor quality, in terms of writing, animation, production. Not always, but most of the time. I guess it has its place. But it does not interest me. Tony
Mostly sports. However, I have been watching The Amazing Race. Over the past few years I've watched a ton of youtube, and one of my favorite personalities made it on TAR. (Meghan aka Strawburry17)

Nihil Obstat
A grown man who watches a show about ponies is not my superior. A real Japanese person would never say that. Clearly you do not respect their culture as much as you claim. :| Kouhai-kun. Oh, I forgot, I also watched the start of the Formula 1 season all weekend. Nihil Obstat
I used to watch F1 a bit. I need to watch more races this year. I'm bigger into NASCAR though I only got into F1 last year, and really love it. But I don't get the attraction for NASCAR. I guess it's another thing where you have to experience it to understand it. But all the exciting things about F1, I just don't see it in NASCAR. On the other hand, I haven't actually watched a full race before. I was hooked on F1 from the first race I watched. Perhaps I could appreciate NASCAR after watching an entire race. Since you're familiar with both, maybe you can tell me. What is it about NASCAR that I'm not getting? Tony
\ Since you're familiar with both, maybe you can tell me. What is it about NASCAR that I'm not getting? The WRECKS!!! just kidding. For me the biggest part is pit stragegy. When to pit, how many tires, (usually 2 or 4), etc. the action on the track is exicitng sure but many races are also won in the pits. Besides that I love seeing 43 cars lined up take a green flag. And I like the tradition/heritage and how fan friendly most of the drivers are I gotta go to a race once of these days, preferably one of the shorter tracks like Bristol or Richmond. Pit strategy is definitely what dictated Sunday's race in Melbourne. I do understand how that part is exciting, but in terms of my actual enjoyment of the event, for me it is the actual driving. Part of that is because I do not quite understand the pit strategies yet. It all makes sense when it is explained to me, but I do not just 'get it' on my own, like I can understand hockey strategy. Onces you watch a few races you start to pick up on some of the pit stragegy. What type of track plays a role in it a well (Super Speed ways, short tracks, road courses) I fell in love with hockey the 1st time I saw it. My old cable used to have a channel that showed a lot of Rangers games so I started following them. 20+ years later, still an Ohio based Rangers fan :D
