Oh! And evidently, I share a common ancestor with Sir Francis Drake, the pirate! Arr! :blood:
:o Really? I am somehow related to Morgan... the "other" pirate!! :blood: You are now my sworn enemy...

... also, my great-great grandpa came over from England... he left his wife behind... and promptly found another one... they moved to Canada and started a family in Manatoba. Then he went BACK to England to find his first wife. Well, she had a child while he was gone-- not his of course... so he hopped back on the ship and headed back to wife number two in Canada...

... on my mom's side, there was a guy who lopped off his arm in a fishing accident.

... My dad's great aunt (is that my great-grand aunt?) was kidnapped by a band of travelling gypsies...

My sister-in-law's grandpa was involved in the search for Charles Lindburg's baby...

Okay, I lied... I made them all up.... I have a very dull family history...

My family is boring, and I'm not creative enough to make up any stories about them. Such is not the case with my sister, though. She can make up all these tall tales about our family and make them sound believable!
