T-fish
Curiosity killed the cat, but here goes. You come onto a Catholic website (bear in mind please that Catholicism is a specific thing--not a set of notional personal opinions) and say things that are plainly against the authoritative teaching of the Catholic Church (outside of which there is no salvation, lol, and precious little inside :o )--yet you feel bullied by half-assed, inattentive responses to your opinions? Seems odd. And y'all claim to be Catholic, yet would rather harass me than show this person how to Seek the Truth. Who's authority? Man or God's? btw, i don't feel bullied. I've been reading some of this Phorum stuff and apparantly there's a lot of it going on. Since Jorge has been voted in, don't you think we should do all we can to reform and rebuild the Church? Pax humana Bieber wanna be. I'd rather be like Christ +

EmilyAnn
Look at the idiots. I see their reactions. oy vey. These are the types that drive people away from the Church. Catholic scientists? rotfl No such thing. God is not science. God is Love. Seek God on your own. Just don't blindly follow Dogma and Doctrine. The Upanisads is a great book about how to know and love God in easy peasy way. Its the same message. "Trust in God". Many idiots think that Hinduism is a pagan religion and it's blasphemous (these are the ones who probably would have voted for Romney even though Mormonism is the most blasphemous religion against the Church) but Hinduism it's Heart is The Self (God) Like Love your neighbor as yourself. The SELF as in God/Christ/Spirit lives in all of us. Many people are not strong enough in faith to read other religious material even though many great missionaries went to those countries and blended in. Just don't rely on science. God rarely plays a doctor. What do you need to know a blood type for? Did they test Jesus for his cholesterol? Trust in God. Even Aquinas said it was all straw. You don't have to be a "practicing catholic" to be catholic. Many monks went off into the desert. They didn't have envelopes or participate in Mass. Let the Spirit guide you, not hypocrites who honor with their lips. Dominus vobiscum! Gosh there are so many things wrong here. Just a few of them: 1. Science is not the enemy of faith. There is such a thing as Catholic scientists. Science is just the study of the natural world, not some big scary monster. Science can be abused and misused but when treated properly it compliments faith. 2. Hinduism is a pagan religion. Non-Abrahamic = pagan. It's polytheistic, so very very wrong right there without even getting into the many other reasons it's wrong . 3. You need to know your blood type if you need a blood transfusion. Women need to know their blood type so that they don't risk giving their children rhesus disease. It's actually very important sometimes.

If you have faith, you don't fear death and dying. duh, You know nothing about HInduism. THere's only one Big God. the rest are like incarnations. Nihil Obstat
Oh dear. I fear I will have to issue a second chastisement. It will be at least twice as awful as the first. Edited March 16, 2013 by Nihil Obstat
Evangetholic
Nihil if I had props I'd lavish you in them in the most excessive and embarrassing manner. As I lack them, I'l subject you to this floridly purple prose of mine. Good job Old Boy! I've seen your beard--it's a wonder. You are a knight. Yes, I've made it awkward, but in these, my declining years, I can do little else.

Evangetholic
Phishy are you Jewish too? My Zayde's family were among the founders of Chabad in the US and I descend from the Baal Shem Tov in five different lines (inbreeding is a wonder). We're mishpucha. Some people consider us as being constitutionally predisposed towards heterodoxy even when we are Christians. Let's prove them wrong.

Tufsoles
Sometimes God whispers. He knows that you believe but you might be a doubting Tomas especially with you logical brain . I am science oriented mind as well since I am a nurse but I see god in alot of things. I see it in when I see an egg starts to dived into a zygote. Yes, there is some chemical reactions and DNA Sequencing going on but the mystery of God puts that forth. He puts power into that egg to dived with the glory it has.
