Aren't you a psychiatrist? Why don't you just keep selling painkiller prescriptions and rake it in?

That's what I'd do.

Governor of Alaska. You can use your strong international relations skills while looking toward Russia from Alaska.

IMO, travel is great, but not at the expense of connections. If you spend a year or two teaching abroad, will it help you get somewhere you want to be in 5 years?

Please...no...

At least not while I work in the executive branch of the State of Alaska...

We are always hiring. Lots of money in it, but I don't know that you have the constitution for it though.  :flex2:

That was awesome. :like:

That's a great question.  As a psychiatrist I should do that.

I was offered an internship with an organization.  It's fine.  I can't decide if the organisation is going to be interesting or not.   It'll take a few hours a day and I think I may enjoy it.  It does require that I sign an 11 page contract and that is concerning.  It's mostly just non-compete clauses and declaring that I don't have the authority to incur financial obligations for the organization.  All that stuff.  I've had to sign a contract for work before but it was just saying agreeing that I wouldn't talk to the media and was pretty straightforward.  This one is like adult and poo.  But since it's not full time I'll take it, I think.  I submitted the grant application for Bosnia with the partner NGO that my organization worked with.  We won't hear back for about two months.  Then next week I'm going to DC for some interviews.  If I get something in DC I'll do that plus my current internship and just help out with Bosnia from here.  If I don't get it then I think I'm going to do the grant in Bosnia and try after that to work in China.  That's the current game plan.

You're mother doesn't count.

I will ignore the obvious bait, and explain that I wasn't speaking of my mother. Also, stop calling her.

I officially hate you and would be honored to consider you a professional reference for advice one day if you pursue NGO work.
