Yeah, can we talk about fashion now? I was curious about full length skirts. Practical or not? Right now I wear skinny jeans but I feel like I shouldn't wear them anymore given that I am not a teen anymore. Thoughts?

I don't wear skinny jeans for two reasons:

1. I am not skinny enough, thus they wouldn't look good on me.

2. I can't understand how people get their feet out of the bottom cuffs... :think2:

I'm not a teen either but I feel like they can be worn (provided they're not skin tight) in a cute fashion.  Besides, they're no more immodest than girls wearing leggings as pants, although that is a fashion I just can't get behind...

In any case, I found a website of cute, modest clothes and the prices are not too shabby :)

I'm 22 now and I wear jeans sometimes (not the super skinny ones but just the straight leg ones), and I will usually only wear them with a longer top that covers my butt or a dress (great way to use dresses that are cute but too short to be worn alone)

I find full length skirts impractical, partly because I live in a very windy city and a full length skirt just gets annoying, blowing about all over the place. For me they seem catch on everything and just generally really annoy me. They're also just not my style. I feel stupid in skirts longer than knee length. If you want to see how it works for you, buy just one cheap full length skirt as a "tester". If you find you love it, then you can invest in more but if you don't then that way you haven't spent a load of money on stuff you'll never wear.

We are. Just not the crummy fashion you want to talk about.

I wear skinny cords occasionally, mainly because I have hardly any rear end to begin with, so there's not much there to emphasize. It works for me, but it definitely doesn't work for everyone.

That website has lots of nice clothes, and you're right - the prices are reasonable too! Bonus! :)

Lets not get started on what Mary would wear swimming. Mary was on earth how many years ago? Standards change. I'm pretty sure she didn't even swim.

I wonder if those who look to the Blessed Virgin's choice of swimwear also look to her lifestyle as the ideal - married at a young age, celibate in their marriage, home-keeper...

Skinny jeans are not inherently immodest.

CAN WE STAHP?! Just post cute clothes in the thread. You have a conscience. Use it.
