I missed his first homily too. I know very little about this pope, his past, the country he is from etc. I do know that when I look at him he looks like a chucklehead ! I mean that as he seems very happy, very kind, and very friendly. He looks like he would be charismatic, able to attract people in a positive way. I remember when I first sen JPII I thougth how open and friendly he seemed, and although I liked Benedict 16 as pope he was not very camera friendly, most pictures I seen of him he came across old and cranky, and others made him look almost rotten. I know it was just that he was not photogenic, a gift some people have while others do  not, but as a pope I feel he did his ministry honorably and above all piously.

 

I have great hope in this new pope, I feel comfortable when I look at him as he seems like a good guy, what else would you expect from one appointed by the Holy Spirit ?
