I think his greatest legacy will likely wind up being not anything he says or does, but simply his example.

This thread is amesome, but I must ask who this "Pope Franic" is. :P

I have a weak left arm with bad circulation that often has uncontrollable muscle spasms from permanent nerve and vein damage. Plus, my hand-eye coordination is shot. So I type stuff wrong frequently and don't notice it more than I used to. You're welcome for this little health lesson.

I wonder what the young people will call him. We shouted "JP 2, We love You" and Papa Ben. So, I wonder?

Ash Wednesday

I was immediately moved by the kindness in his eyes as he looked down at the people greeting him. The eyes truly are the window to the soul, and his is one with disarming simplicity and humility, but most of all, sincerity. Given all the horrible scandal that has rocked the Church, what example we see in Francis may be a beautiful ray of light from the Church that God wants the world to see.

Though of course his traditional stance on moral issues has the right people howling mad as well.
