PhuturePriest
http://augustineinstitute.org/index.php/pope-francis Thought I might make a thread so more could see and finally distill the argument.
franciscanheart
Yeah, but... I still want to see it from an actual source at the Vatican. It was the first assumption, but there was a famous Jesuit Francis, too. ;) (Believe me: I am hanging on to the thought that he means Assisi until someone tells me otherwise. But I"m not going to get TOO excited to see our first Papa Francis until I see it written someplace I can't deny...)
Didacus
He's been poipe for less than a day - is it not a little quick to start posting things like this? Let the man, our papa, speak for himself!
Basilisa Marie
It's probably a bit of both.
Slappo
http://augustineinstitute.org/index.php/pope-francis Thought I might make a thread so more could see and finally distill the argument. Lol... that's such speculation. For all we know he only chose Francis because he could name his papacy after both a humble Franciscan and a missionary Jesuit all in one go.
