ithinkjesusiscool
Dear fellow human beings, Confiteor makes me upset. I know I am supposed to say that I'm sorry for my evilness. The thing is, when Gid does something dumb eg not helping me He always gets away with it. I think God should tell me sorry for being rude to me. How do you even nanage to say the Confiteor? DiscerningCatholic
Free will kinda s.ucks sometimes. God "not stopping you from sinning" is really God not interfering with your free will. It's not God's problem for "not helping you"; it's your problem - as is the case for ALL of us - for not resisting temptation. You don't sin because God makes you sin or doesn't tell you to stop; you know sinning is wrong but sin anyway. It's us, not God. Don't blame your sinning on "God being dumb and not helping you." Our sinful humanity is not God's problem. Edited March 11, 2013 by DiscerningCatholic

Evangetholic
Hmm...I'm not good at being "pastoral," so I'll stay out of this. But I can pray it because I'm a piece of s**t at times, but still God loves me and calls me to repent. Still, He DIED for me. Autumn Dusk
First, we don't nanage anything. If you have a hard time spelling like myself, please make liberal use of the spell checking plugin that dUst has enabled for us. Second what's wrong with confessing you've done wrong. There's a hysterical video that I saw yesterday with two little boys who decimated the house with a 5 pound bag of flour when mom accidentally fell asleep from exhaustion while doing laundry. EVERYTHING under 4 feet was coverd, couches lamps, rugs, floors, pictures. The boys were no more than 3 and 1 The boys were upset that the bag of flour was empty. The mother is walking around the house going "Oh my gosh, oh my gosh" in complete shock. The older of the two boys pipes up "Mommy what wrong?" The mom is besides herself and asks what happened with the flour the younger boy pipes up "ahh gon" The mom manages a shaky response "what happen" the older answers "it ok, we play" The children had NO IDEA what mess they made, nor were they remorseful. They didn't KNOW to be remorseful. We are that way with God. We make big messes and we don't even know it.

Autumn Dusk
Also, the whole "when God does something dumb like not helping me" is about the most immature thing ever. Why should God do things your way? The thought is silly.
