Tufsoles
I have a slight problem. I found out that I have Cock Roaches. I have found 3, 2 in the Laundry and 1 in the bathroom, both rooms right next to each other. Enough evidnence to figure there is more and possibly in other areas. I want to use the regualr stuff but the chemicals in the the regular stuff have given me sensory headache/migranes. I want to use organic stuff but I have no clue what to buy or where to start. Any suggestions?

MIKolbe
2 cups borax 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup chopped onion 2 tablespoons cornstarch 2 tablespoons water in a bowl roll into small balls Place three balls into an unsealed sandwich bag and place the bags wherever your roach problem exists. Remember, though, that the roach balls are poisonous; be sure to place them where kids and pets can’t reach them. or pour a gallon of hot water into a bucket, add 4 cups boric acid (powdered), stir till dissolved. fill up spray bottles and use. (put mask on when adding the powder) or put rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle and go to town
IcePrincessKRS
Miko posted as I was typing, but I was going to recommend borax as well. You can sprinkle it around the areas (especially along the walls) of the places you saw the roaches. Just be careful with it if you have pets or small children around. IcePrincessKRS
Oh, another thing that helps (I'm not sure why it works, but I tried it while we lived in Korea) is to make a strong tea out of catnip leaves and use a spritzer bottle and douse the walls, floor boards, etc. where ever you have seen them. You can also put little sachets of catnip around your home and in your cupboards. ETA: This does NOT kill them, but for some reason it deters them. You may still have some bold enough to cross the sprayed area but I noticed a significant decrease when I use it. IcePrincessKRS
http://www.homeadvisor.com/article.show.Roach-Control-the-Natural-Way.14159.html This link has some helpful suggestions, too. Having dealt with this issue while living overseas, and now living in the south where you get "palmetto bugs" (aka giant roaches) slipping in through cracks (thankfully they don't infest homes like German cockroaches), I completely feel your pain on this problem. I hope you find a way to tackle the problem.
