Seeing pictures of him, he was pretty obviously out of place.

I mean come on. It looks like he just happened to find a bishop's cassock lying around in a closet somewhere, and decided to play dress-up with it for a day to stir up trouble.

Troll level: Master. The fact he was able to get through the Swiss Guards makes him cool and should alarm the next Pope to tighten security measures.

Except not really. He snuck in through a back door and was dragged out by the Swiss Guard.

Is this legit?...

Yes.

Yes.

Precisely. What if he was some psycho with a gun? That wouldn't have went well. Security should be tightened.

he couldn't even press the cassock? not even trying.

Not to mention trying to get away with crummy running shoes and a cassock that is much too short.

And the cheap fedora. That part was just insulting.

When I first looked at the pic I was looking at the guy in the middle thinking he looks like a bishop to me...then I realized it's the other guy. His bobo shoes gave him away.

On his website, Mr Napierski claims that he is a founder of the Corpus Dei
Catholic order and describes himself as “a slave and apostle like St. Paul”.

The blog claims that “bishop” Napierski “comes out of a tribe of the Roman
Catholic Church that is fighting the heresy and false movements inside the
Roman Catholic Church.”

He is a keen proponent of something called “Jesus Yoga” and claims to have
invented “a system to enable persons to control computers with the power of
thoughts”.
