Evangetholic
There is a Traditional Latin Mass said near me on the first and third Sundays of every month. I am not going to it this morning, because I do not know what to do at a Traditional Latin Mass. But still I am so overjoyed that my eyes are moist, not actually crying, but close. My Eucharistic Lord. My Beloved has found this new, but old way to come to me. This is not a negative evaluation of the Ordinary Form, I've never really seen it done with the formality and respect Rome has in mind for it; but believe it or not huge parts of the liturgy used at the Episcopal church I attended are just English translations of the pre-Conciliar Rite (we only used the Book of Common Prayer for the Liturgy of the Hours and lesser rites) so I expect these rites to actually be more familiar to me and to heal a certain malaise I've felt, but not mentioned since coming back to Holy Church. "Our God is a consuming fire" Were I the type to sleep I could do so with ease now.

Nihil Obstat
Let us know if you have any questions you want answered. :) Many of us here go to the traditional Mass regularly. I am lucky enough to have an FSSP priest nearby who celebrates daily, so I attend there exclusively. It is not as hard to get used to as you might initially think. LouisvilleFan
Hmm... what to do? Pray. Try to follow along. You'll probably be completely lost before the Confeitor. You'll find your place and get lost again. Look at it as a kind of metaphor for life (as the Mass really is a metaphor or life, or isn't it that life is a metaphor for the Holy Mass?) They should have those little red missalettes. You might find an old St. Joseph missalette at a used bookstore for a couple bucks.
Evangetholic
I haven't any questions yet. I wish I had gone this morning though.

Evangetholic
Well. I went, it was in the old church here. The Mass was beautiful. And the priest is just the kind of confessor I like. Gentle, but a believer in penances heavier than "buy something nice for yourself and take it easy kid." I am pleased. :)

Did you try following along with the Mass in a missal, or did you just try to take it all in this time?
Evangetholic
I got lost in the Missal. I got bored. I started crying (which is bizarre for me--I do not often cry for spiritual reasons). I prayed the Rosary. Did a lot of things. I'm excited to go again. lol Also, unlike my parish, there was hugging and chatting and familial interaction afterwards. Which, imo, is a necessary part of Christians gathering together in God's name.
Nihil Obstat
Good start. ^_^ It is really easy to get lost the first several times you go. But after a while it just all makes sense.
