Pax_et bonum
Not sure if this is supposed to be serious/where we think God's calling us or regardless of His will/communities we have crushes on... Realistically: the Poor Sisters of Saint Clare if that is indeed where He is calling me Unrealistically: The Sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration becauseIlovethemsomuchOK! The sisters are some of my favorite people in the world though I know I'm not cut out for their life, and I'm going to miss them so much if I enter the PSSC! Thanks to Sr. Mary Anthony for reminding me that I've probably been on my last retreat with them!
PhuturePriest
Ever since I stopped discerning this has been a fun game I have been doing. I think without a doubt my dream Community would be the Knights of the Holy Eucharist: http://knightsoftheholyeucharist.com/ They do tours for visitors of the EWTN shrine (I've always wanted to give tours, especially at a place so cool), they are a great bunch of guys, I LOVE their amazing habits and swords (Their habits are modern but still traditional. They are designed after what the Knights in the Crusades wore), and oh my goodness have you seen their AMAZING schedule?! On Saturdays and Sundays, they get over eight hours of free time each day to do whatever the heck they please!
nikita92
Abbey of Our Lady of the Annunciation, Le Barroux (Abbaye Notre-Dame de for one...if I was young and didn't have to worry about health insurance. More to come...
the171
Well, if I had my way I wouldn't be discerning. It's not what we want, but what God wills. Therefore, I think this thread isn't appropriate. :| I'm usually not the one to say this.
CorJesu
No it's not meant to be a serious post....just if you could be in any religious community regardless..which community would you choose?? :)
TeDeum
These guys seem pretty awesome. http://www.youtube.com/embed/T7V3iYeZU0E Especially if you love St. Maximilian Kolbe like I do. Edited March 1, 2013 by TeDeum

the171
No it's not meant to be a serious post....just if you could be in any religious community regardless..which community would you choose?? :) I understand that it isn't serious, but I feel it might be unhealthy. Now, I am fine with "List Your Favorite Communities!!" But maybe not this.

maximillion
oh my golly gosh......great question. Er so many amazing new communities, but ND de Barroux has to be up there I guess, and I love the Fraternite de Jerusalem but maybe not their so active lifestyle, so...er contemplative, Sacred Heart focus. The Sister Servants of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, because they are active/contemplative and my background in nursing.............
Anastasia13
If you could join any religious community...which one would it be and why? :nun3: Anything Oriental or at least Eastern. I understand God's grace and how to be (and trust) rather than worry about doing (or failing and repeatedly reminding myself of my failure) all of the time. OnlySunshine
Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal I love them so much! I sincerely hoped I was called there when I visited in 2010 but it was not to be. They are such a joyful community and I love the Friars as well. :)
Rosa immaculata
Abbey of Our Lady of the Annunciation, Le Barroux (Abbaye Notre-Dame de for one...if I was young and didn't have to worry about health insurance. More to come... Waow, me too! But perhaps I am really called here; besides, the contemplative Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate (even if I realise that God surely calls me elsewhere, snif:) ), and the Sisters Victims of the Sacred Heart (possible I am called here...). Nikita, I will surely go to see seriously the sisters at Le Barroux; I don't know when yet, but if you want, I will let you know how was the visit... :) Prayers for you all even if I am not very present! To Jesus Through Mary
Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal I love them so much! I sincerely hoped I was called there when I visited in 2010 but it was not to be. They are such a joyful community and I love the Friars as well. :) I am with you here... the CFRs or Sisters of Life. Neither is where God is calling me, but they are beautiful beautiful communities.
