jazzytakara
I know that God love us unconditionally and that His mercy extends to all those who truly seek it, but my question is whether or not God knows the moment we are conceived whether or not we will choose to follow Him or not? Is there really a battle for our souls, is temptation more about getting us into a state of mortal sin in hopes of turning us from God long enough (or permanently) to die in a state of mortal sin? I guess what I a, confused about is why are we born if God knows in advance whether or not we will follow Him? We have the free will to choose, but does God know that an individual will not choose Him in life either temporarily or permanently? Is there any belief/theology on the matter of creation in regards to God knowing at conception that we will or will not follow him or if it is a matter completely up in the air that only we can choose and God doesn't know until we make it? Theoketos
God knows all. But foreknowledge does not equal coercions.
