Winchester
Decisions: my lady says to dye it black, but with blue undertones; but she's a heretic--is she to be trusted in such matters? (And apparently dyeing bleached hair can result in mountains of weird) Heretics are the best for hair advice.
Evangetholic
How about this... dye it black... leave a few strands light... and add liturgically correct (or Lady-suggested) colors in washable tints as desired..... will let you change it around, and will look really cool! I missed this. I'm such a rash and volatile young dandy. Yes. Temp dyes. You have saved me again ma belle dame. Wanna get married? AnneLine
I missed this. I'm such a rash and volatile young dandy. Yes. Temp dyes. You have saved me again ma belle dame. Wanna get married? "It is not good for the man to be alone" Oh, Evan....that's the nicest offer anyone has made me in a long time. However, Mr. AnneLine would be unhappy.... And there are days that I already feel as if I have two husbands - God and Mr. AnneLine. I really think three would be just too much.... just a little too much. But I'm glad you're back... and I eagerly await watching what you do with the temp dyes.... Long ago I was in a parish that had one reader who put highlights with the colors of the liturgical season into her hair... it was, uh, an interesting look. But please, be subtle. She was just too over-the-top. You can do it with more grace & finesse....
HisChildForever
What dye did you use to get blond? Did you actually bleach it? Because be prepared for it to snap off if you heap dye on it. I went from blond to dark brown a couple years ago but had this done in a salon. It actually came out as a dark reddish brown because red had to be added to the brown dye to offset the blond. It also faded, and it faded fast. Even after getting it redone every month it faded fast. I then dyed it at home and got better results. But then I said screw it because the maintenance was a pain and a waste of money, so I'm au natural now and pleased as punch about it. You might as well wait for your natural color to grow in, get a close buzz, grow it a little, and go from there. Evangetholic
Boo Mr. AnneLine! :p -------- HCF, I beached it twice .with a 40 volume developer. I think temp dyes are less damaging.
