Evangetholic
My hair is naturally a very dark brown. Almost black. Currently it is platinum and has been since a little after Christmas. I'm thinking about dyeing it. Can't decide on a color. Part of me wants a really rich purple and another part of me wants black. Help for I to decide. Evangetholic
Dude, I thought you left for good? Guess you got hooked! Just remember, all things in moderation ;) Moderation is sadly a virtue I lack. My loves and my hates tend to be frighteningly intense. Also, I move fast--like a ninja, so this could be a post from the past. edited because I initially called moderation a vice. PhuturePriest
Go with black.
EmilyAnn
Purple of course.
AnneLine
black with liturgically correct highlights?
NonNovi
Royal blue, in honour of our heavenly mother :)
Basilisa Marie
PURPLE. And then bleach it out again for Easter. That way it's liturgically TERRIFIC. Blue is also a really good choice. But even just a rich awesome royal purple would be sweeeeet.
EmilyAnn
Keep in mind with suggestions of blue that it does not last very long.
Basilisa Marie
It should be good if you use Punky. I got some Punky Alpine Green on my fingers once and it didn't come off for a week. Or maybe I just have ridiculously color-happy cells. :)
r2Dtoo
I say go with a really bright pink. Be an individual.
Evangetholic
Decisions: my lady says to dye it black, but with blue undertones; but she's a heretic--is she to be trusted in such matters? (And apparently dyeing bleached hair can result in mountains of weird)
EmilyAnn
A blue-black can look awe.some. I had that once and it was very cool. Dyeing over bleached hair can have some funny effects. Things may not always turn out quite the way you expect, but a black shouldn't be affect too badly. When I bleached my hair it went ginger. AnneLine
How about this... dye it black... leave a few strands light... and add liturgically correct (or Lady-suggested) colors in washable tints as desired..... will let you change it around, and will look really cool!
