cartermia
My grandma is tucking a dress that my aunt gave to me. It is white on top and pretty different shades of blue flowers at the bottom.
DiscerningCatholic
My aunt altered my dress and it fits better, but she decided to re-do the entire waistline without even asking me if I was okay with it, and it looks awful! :cuss: I didn't spend 100 bucks on a dress so my aunt could make the dress look how she wanted it to look. Anastasia13
For the fashion people: if white shoes are not found (at a store, that fit, and don't hurt) in time: Fuschia dress with either (A) black shoes and purse and gray/rose shawl or (B) beige shoes and purse with either (B1) black sweater or (B2) white sweater? Can she undo that part? Edited March 23, 2013 by Light and Truth
DiscerningCatholic
I'm going to ask her if she can, but she's the kind of person who sees "I really appreciate what you did, but I'm not a huge fan of this part" as being totally ungrateful and will then hold a grudge for the next billion years. So I'm not totally enthusiastic about asking her.
