Lil Red
Just, I did a search with Google with the words "New World Order" and "Catholic Church" and I got This Site. Here's a quote from it: You must realize that the Roman Catholic Church, the European Union, NATO and New World Order are and will continue working together to achieve there goal of complete world control and domination. NATO will merge into the E.U., the United Nations will disappear into it also, leaving only the Church and New World Order to work together. The Roman Catholic Church has a long memory, and for those who in the past have resisted its wishes, a high price will be extracted, on the Jews, other Christian religions and especially women. Women have pushed for divorce, equal rights in the church, birth control and abortion. All of these against the wishes of the Roman Catholic Church. All will disappear in the next few years. Once the New World Order takes over, the Church will have birth control removed. The Roman Catholic Church is a believer of large familys, and women of child bearing age will likely have to have a certain number of children over a specific time period. Abortion, divorce, birth control and so on, will no longer be available and the Church will be ruled with an iron fist policy. These rules will be strictly enforced by the New World Order. Obviously this is old because it's talking about Bill Clinton as present president. (say that three times fast) I also found this site.
MC Just
oh my goodness I think the Vatican needs to get away from the Un, why in the Heck is our Church even associated with the Un? Iron Monk can you shed some light on this for me?? Edited August 21, 2003 by Mc-Just†
Kathryn
The Church is very aware of the United Nations and we are a thorn in their side.
Lil Red
I found this site too, seems pretty good. It doesn't attack the Catholic Church like the other one did. Okay, wait, I take that back. I did more digging and they do. It seems like most of the sites say that the Catholic Church is trying to bring about the New World Order. Here's that site. You know, we always talk about debunking the myths out there about the Catholic Church, and I've always thought it harmless fun. But this site is scary. Very scary. I just can't believe that people actually believe this stuff. :(
MC Just
I know what you mean, but the Un seems like something leading a one world government. It is pretty scary.
Lil Red
I wish I was better at defending the Church. But that's part of why I'm here, to learn more. And I have, it's just that I can't articulate it very well.

cmotherofpirl
We do agree that nations can get along better. And the UN is the only international organization that offers that possibility (other than the Church). But the Catholic Church is morally opposed to the UN's population policies. Lil Red
Hundreds of millions live and die in the Roman Catholic Church without ever hearing the gospel. How is this possible? If you go to church every Sunday for three years, you hear almost the whole Bible. The New Catechism of the Catholic Church says, "The Church does not know of any means other than Baptism that asures entry into eternal beatitude..." Does anyone know where they get this? I looked in my Catechism and couldn't find it. Okay, I did. It's paragraph 1257. But it continues to say "This is why she takes care not to neglect the mission she has received from the Lord to see that all who can be baptized are "reborn of water and the Spirit." God has bound salvation to the sacrament of Baptism, but he himself is not bound by his sacraments." Kathryn
The Catholic Church (Vatican) is in a constant battle with the UN over birthcontrol and abortion throughout the world. If we did not keep an observer status we would have no say at all. Cardinal Arinze of Nigeria (maybe our next Pope) also fights the World Council of Churches (UN agency) without joining them, but maintaining dialog. Many in the UN would like the Vatican to be kicked out of observer status and they are always looking for ways to do just that. The World Council of Churches wants us to join their organization because then we would be agreeing that all religions are equal. Like I say, we are a big thorn in the UN's side. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/381827.stm

MC Just
Excuse my language but I am pissed, what the Un is doing is very "UN-Just. They are trying to control the population like they are God. Hillary clinton is fighting for an increase in Contraceptives! God said "Be fruitful and Multiply" and they are trying stop that process.
