Evangetholic
They would probably pronounce it as Pope Peter the Two-th. Sounds like Mickey the Knife

brianthephysicist
Pope Razzle Dazzle I or was that Peter? He certainly had the dazzle during his brief stint on water with Jesus.

BG45
The next Pope will be named brianthephysicist and will take the name Pope Pinkie Pie. Pope Pius the Pink? Also I think Missy might be mad at him if he did that.

PhuturePriest
I think a Pope Pio I would be wonderful. His first encyclical would be on the importance of clergy slapping lukewarm penitents in confession.
Luigi
Pope Pio I Pio is, of course, the Italian for Pius. And there have been XII of them to date.
PadrePioOfPietrelcino
Pio is, of course, the Italian for Pius. And there have been XII of them to date. Really? Didn't know that...well the Latin will just have to change.
Luigi
Really? Didn't know that...well the Latin will just have to change. In Italy (at least in the public media), they probably do refer to Pope Pius as Papa Pio. They also refer to a pope by his last name, e.g., Papa Ratzinger and Papa Wotylja. So, at least in Italy, it doesn't really matter what the pope names himself... they call him what they want!
PhuturePriest
I was thinking about it, and I'm thinking a Pope Frodo. In a theological sense, that's a great choice. Men that are elected Pope simply do not want to be. Their vestment room is literally nicknamed "The Room of Tears" because every man that walks in there starts to weep. Frodo is a very theological character. He didn't want to do what he did, but he was obedient and brave and he didn't quit until he finally succeeded and did the impossible (The reason this is theological is because it mirrors the Saints). Thus, being Pope Frodo is technically not a bad choice. Also, we will have brought thousands of Ringers to the Church as a result of this choice.
