Senior Trip Ideas

Senior trips are a big thing in Louisiana. Some do Europe, some do Panama, some get major hammered and they end up forgetting where they were. Well, my senior year is soon to be here and I still have no idea what I am doing. I have a few ideas, but no plans. Here are some of the ideas:

-Crossroads summer walk (this is a big one)

-Calcutta (always been a dream of mine to work in Calcutta with the sisters if even for a little while)

-Rome (my diocese has a senior trip they organize every year)

-Louisiana island hopping for a week witha couple of friends

-Washington DC (I want to go to all the museums. I LOVE museums.)

-all summer on the Camino (or however long that kind of thing usually takes)

-France (I can speak French so I wouldn't want or need a tour guide or interpreter)

So these are my ideas. Offer opinions on the ideas, your own senior trip, ideas, etc., etc. I really want it to be an experience that isn't just a fun, drunken time. (I don't want to be drunk at all actually. I might have a few in Rome. Yum!)

I love parentheses.

DC. ;)

Mom and I have talked about doing Rome for mine, which would be really cool. Being a homeschooler in a small group, I only have one other girl graduating with me, and we're good friends, so we've thought about doing Rome together which would be awesome.

My wife did an Alaskan cruise in college and absolutely loved it. It was one of those where you camped out on the deck.  I think you save money doing that. Said the brightness of the stars were amazing.

Save your money

Honestly, this isn't a bad idea.  I went on a senior trip in COLLEGE with my roomie...highschool seems important now, but is so overrrated.

Of those, I'd choose Rome. The only reason I wouldn't choose DC is because I live so close and so I go there fairly often. Although France is pretty cool too.
