Autumn Dusk
Once I wore a knee-length skirt into a church and didn't once get told I was immodest. I rocked it too. If you think I'm joking, I'm not. Ask Basilisa, she was there. I removed the graphic.... I'm just saying that MY experience is that in my area you MUST be wearing a skirt. They did seem ok with covering-knee skirts....but I refuse to wear a skirt.
GeorgiiMichael
I wore long socks a couple times. I definitely didn't shave my legs though. I removed the graphic.... I'm just saying that MY experience is that in my area you MUST be wearing a skirt. They did seem ok with covering-knee skirts....but I refuse to wear a skirt. I wonder what they'd say if I showed up in a skirt...
Evangetholic
kilts are different. as are chubbies, by which word I mean the shorts, but the notion of hairy man legs parading about in a skirt is semi-nauseating, and the socks are making it worse. But eh "Sky's out, thighs out!"
Basilisa Marie
I think your skirt flattered your burly man calves, Georgii. More men should wear skirts.

GeorgiiMichael
Dang, he's on to us. Well I mean, a kilt is TECHNICALLY a skirt....

Evangetholic
I'm in them right now. I've considered whether or not it's an offense to modesty, but no one looks at men. Other than gay guys and if anything it presents an opportunity to tell them that God died for them. *shrugs*

Basilisa Marie
I'm in them right now. I've considered whether or not it's an offense to modesty, but no one looks at men. Other than gay guys and if anything it presents an opportunity to tell them that God died for them. *shrugs* The idea that women aren't turned on by visual stimuli is a complete myth. Not in the same way as men, sure, but we're definitely turned on by a nice body. And really? Why would you want to lead a gay man into an occasion of sin? That's no different from me wearing really low cut shirts, a push-up bra and a miniskirt and calling it an "opportunity to tell [guys] that God died for them." :) Now, do I think those shorts are immodest? Nah, not really. But I don't fault people who are uncomfortable with them. Edited February 19, 2013 by Basilisa Marie
EmilyAnn
Yup, the idea that women don't look at men is myth. Me and my housemate were just watching TV and judging all the men in it.
Evangetholic
Honestly I've yet to see a reasonably attractive non-related human female under 60 I can't have an impure thought about. I think the danger of male lust is inherently different than that of female lust; but I'll try to control my animal magnetism and wild masculine sex appeal for the sake of the ladies. :p
