I pray that you all are having a blessed Lenten season so far. I'm signing in today to post this prayer request that is important to me. On Thursday I heard back from the Discalced Carmelite community that I have been interested in for some time, but because I haven't been away that long from a previous community I knew it was prudent to wait and also to pay attention to my heart. It will be a year on Good Friday. This letter that I'm sending out tomorrow explains my situation to Reverend Mother about being in Carmel before but having to leave there because I didn't fit in well. I'm putting this in Our Lord's hands. I hope I won't be anxious, but completely trusting while I wait for the response. My hope is that instead of turning me away, that they will let me discern with them and get to know me. Because its Lent, and Mother may want to prayer about this first before she writes back, I may not hear from her for a while. I hope I will be patient. Thanks so much for saying a prayer about this.
