missionseeker
I tried the vinegar and baking soda for a few months. It was ok, but not what I've seen my hair do. (It was pretty soft). Granted, I was traveling for 7 months and so never in the same climate or altitude, which I'm sure didn't help. But I switched back to using a moisturizing conditioner. For horses. I've had several curly haired friends recommend it and i figured what the hey. I still use baking soda as needed - though for a while I used a shampoo for scalps. But this is it http://www.amazon.com/Mane-Tail-Conditioner-32/dp/B003JN4URY/ref=sr_1_2?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1362447349&sr=1-2&keywords=mane+and+tail+conditioner it's cheaper not on amazon, actually. It's about $5 a bottle at walmart (or your local co-op or farm store) I've been using it since december and am only halfway through the second bottle. so it's pretty cheap. I can't really afford mixed chicks or the spin off, either, but I've been using http://www.amazon.com/Garnier-Fructis-Style-Sculpting-5-1-Fluid/dp/B004YVDIAU/ref=sr_1_1?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1362447648&sr=1-1&keywords=garnier+fructis+curl+sculpting+cream+gel and or this http://www.amazon.com/got2b-Kinky-Curling-Mousse-Quantity/dp/B008RTZ9Q6/ref=sr_1_2?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1362447730&sr=1-2&keywords=got+2b+kinky depending on how I want them to look or how lazy I'm feeling. ascott1
*shivers* Yes. I pulled that thing off as soon as Mass was over. And you know what they did when we returned them? STUFFED THEM BACK IN BINS! It's no wonder they were so wrinkly and we had to get them dry cleaned! Im now required by my church to wear robes I would like to wear one of those featured in the picture At least they did not make me wear a burqa like those choir boys in that newsbisquit article.
