One that kills me is Gevalia. I didn't mention it because it's not so common in the U.S., but it's coffee from Sweden -- their coffee is soooo good..... *sigh*
GEVALIA???? NOOOOOO!!! :sadder:

Woe to the coffee addict...[weeps]
If I were to boycott... it would make little difference. Considering millions still purchase it.
Do you want to be counted as one of those millions who supports them? One person can make a big difference. By boycotting it and speaking out against it, you're affecting change, no matter how small.

"Even the smallest person can change the course of the future." [sigh] gotta love LOTR
There are an unbelievable amount of products out there that are tied to PP. All Proctor & Gamble products, for example -- makers of Ivory soap, pringles potato chips, Crest toothpaste, Tampax, Always, Oil of Olay, Covergirl, Mr. Clean, Dawn, Tide, Bounty, Gain, Cheer, Bounce, Bold, Aussie Haircare, Charmin, Folgers Coffee, Head & Shoulders, Herbal Essences, Iams pet foods, max factor, Clairol, NyQuil, Pampers, Pantene, Pepto Bismol, Vidal Sassoon...

Plus there is Johnson & Johnson, Bristol Meyers, and Philip-Morris/Kraft, which together includes: Band Aid, Tang, di Giorno, Starbucks, Oscar Meyer cold cuts, Nabisco, and cereals including Alpha-Bits, Banana Nut Crunch, Blueberry Morning, Cinna-Cluster, Raisin Bran, Cranberry Almond Crunch,  Frosted Shredded Wheat, Fruit & Fibre, Golden Crisp, Grape-Nuts, Great Grains, Honey Bunches of Oats, Honeycomb, Natural Bran Flakes, Oreo O's, Pebbles,  Raisin Bran, Shredded Wheat...

Not to mention, Ben & Jerry's ice cream, Pizza hut, Hewlett Packard, Microsoft, Calvin Klein, American Express, Subaru, AT&T many other corporations,  and last but not least, our tax dollars.

So, like Anna said, sitting in the back yard eating grass is the most realistic option... if drinking a coke is a mortal sin then God help all of us. But I don't think it is.

Rather than sit in our backyards and eat grass, do things actively to combat abortion. Supporting smaller businesses and open source software is cool to do, anyway. ;)
I think you're absolutely right Ash. A big and sadder problem is that many of the "alternative" products to these name brands - the organic ones found in places like Whole Foods Market - make no secret about supporting what they deem as "women support groups" such as PP and NOW.

I believe we've got to try and find products who don't directly or indirectly support abortion (such as through the March of Dimes and the United Way) and for the products we favor we should lobby them to not support abortion.

With seemingly "harmless" charities like the March of Dimes and the United Way running around it's a hard sell.

And I sure hope owning Coca-Cola stuff isn't a sin. Otherwise I'm just doomed!
