the171
I need a Confirmation dress. I have been looking since December aaannnd.... nothing. Shabby Apple, Modcloth, and Ruche have been promising, but they are super expensive. Just drop links. I hate frumpy, I like lace, I am okay with right above the knee, and I would prefer off white or ivory.
EmilyAnn
I don't really have any links right now (I'll keep my eyes out) but if you really struggle, sometimes a top and skirt combo can be easier, and if they're the same colour you get almost the same effect. I did that for a school concert and barely anyone realised I wasn't wearing a dress. And this may be a really obvious choice but do you know anyone who can sew? FutureCarmeliteClaire
I almost bought this, but was concerned about the see-through-ishness of the fabric and about the shipping. Idk if it would work for you. http://www.etsy.com/listing/81340631/heavens-above-white-flax-sundress-sky?ref=exp_listing] I always find stuff I would have worn AFTER Confirmation. Ugh. Lol :P http://www.etsy.com/listing/116343135/vintage-60s-dress-lace-ivory-champagne?ref=sr_gallery_9&ga_search_query=ivory+vintage+dress&ga_order=most_relevant&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_ship_to=US&ga_min=0&ga_max=60&ga_page=2&ga_search_type=all I don't really get the measurements on this, but it would be really pretty with either an ivory or a red sash across the waist. http://www.etsy.com/listing/119012505/80s-ivory-lace-shift-dress-l?ref=sr_gallery_22&ga_search_query=ivory+vintage+dress&ga_order=most_relevant&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_ship_to=US&ga_min=0&ga_max=60&ga_page=9&ga_search_type=all I'm kind of in love. http://www.etsy.com/listing/114808144/liz-roberts-womens-size-12-vintage-1980s?ref=sr_gallery_24&ga_search_query=ivory+vintage+dress&ga_order=most_relevant&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_ship_to=US&ga_min=0&ga_max=60&ga_page=23&ga_search_type=all http://www.etsy.com/listing/116093368/petit-dejeuner-in-cream-ivory-white?ref=sr_gallery_33&ga_search_query=ivory+vintage+dress&ga_order=most_relevant&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_ship_to=US&ga_min=0&ga_max=60&ga_page=28&ga_search_type=all

I've been thinking of taking a pattern I love (but I am really too lazy to sew) to a seamstress.

Anyone can tell that that one is not. :hehe:
FutureCarmeliteClaire
I will pay money if you wear a white kilt. And carry bagpipes. I bet you think I'm kidding.
