Salesian Reflections for Lent Eucharist, Prayer, Reconciliation, Marriage & the Family, Discipleship.Presenter:  Deacon George Kelly

Director of Institutional Research

DeSales University Gather the Fragments that Nothing be Wasted…Lenten Holiness in Little Things Many of us begin Lent with wonderful resolutions but
often fail to accomplish the spiritual goals we had set for ourselves.
This course will help us to consider a new perspective on Lent and the
call to deny ourselves.  After multiplying the bread and fishes for the
crowd of 5000, Jesus had his apostles “gather the fragments, that
nothing be wasted.”   We will gently ponder the “fragments” in our
lives, and see how they can be woven into loving Lenten actions.Presenter:  Sr. John Marie Schauber, OSFS

DeSales University A Salesian Perspective of the Liturgy of the Word A weekly look at the readings for each Sunday of Lent through a Salesian lensPresenter:  Fr. John Fisher, OSFS

Director of Educational Initiatives, Salesian Center

DeSales University An Introduction to Salesian Spirituality Novel to St. Francis de Sales was the belief that we are
all called to holiness in our ordinary state in life. Some of the helps
he offered for doing so are discussed in this course: the universal
call to holiness, union with God, recalling the presence of God, living
in the present moment, and the Direction of Intention.Presenter: Fr. John Fisher, OSFS

Director of Educational Initiatives, Salesian Center

I'm really reluctant now to sign up for these classes.  I tried to do one in Advent but the director never got back to me after the initial email.  Was anyone able to complete one successfully?
