Which Saint Is It?

Ok guys I need help with this! I am working on my talk for the upcoming Confirmation 2 retreat this weekend (btw could you pray for us as we all prepare!) and for part of it I will be telling a story of this one saint. Unfortunately I only know the story of the saint, not his name and I don't have enough time to contact the person who told me the story. The story is this: the saint wanted to offer God something of his. He tried to offered his life, but God said no, He had made that. So the saint offered his thoughts. But God refused saying that He had that as well. After making other offers and having them refused as well the saint finally asked God what he could offer. God told him to offer his sin, fear and worry because those were only three things He had not made.

If you could let me know which saint this is asap I will be very grateful!!!
